AlertCops App

The AlertCops app is free and enables real-time interaction with the Civil Guard or National Police; it also features the "Guardian" service, which provides real-time geolocation.

Joint patrols

In areas with high concentrations of tourists from a specific country, services for foreign tourists may be provided through joint patrols. These patrols consist of personnel from Spanish State Security Forces and Corps working alongside police officers from other countries (such as the Gendarmerie Nationale, Arma dei Carabinieri, Guarda Nacional Republicana (GNR), Bundespolizei, Moroccan Gendarmerie Royale, and other police agencies).

Foreign Tourist Assistance Service (SATE)

The Foreign Tourist Assistance Service (SATE) provides support to travelers from other countries with police-related procedures, particularly when they have been victims of a crime during their vacation. Through specific agreements, various municipalities have implemented the SATE program, where tourists receive assistance and advice in their own language for necessary tasks such as filing a police report, handling consular matters, locating family members, cancelling credit cards, and more.
